Twenty months (updated)

Over the past month we've discovered that:
  • Alex reacts to fresh tomatoes (he turns the same colour as one and gets hives, even when he only eats half of a cherry size tomato). Have researched it all now and hopefully this doesn't occur with cooked tomato or he might have to say bye-bye for life to a lot of yummy Italian and Greek food. Lucky that pizza is great with a bbq sauce base;
  • Taj has graduated to full cows milk;
  • we're going to have a future star of Puppetry of the Penis (Google that one if you dare);
  • Alcatraz is still highly useful and is now onto its next iteration fiercely guarding the tv in the lounge room;
  • Tigerlily is super happy as we've put a cat door into the laundry door (within the house), so she now has another place to duck into when she gets sprung lurking during the day;
  • Alex is really heavy;
  • Taj wants you to put something onto his head (hat, bunny ears - see below) if he stands in front of you and puts his chin onto his chest;
  • we're so in need of a change of scenery and/or break that we've been mad enough to book an interstate holiday in August, so it's going to be interesting to see how many bags we need to go anywhere - and how long it takes to pack. And we officially know we have children now as we both were just about giddy with excitement when we booked a hotel with a kids club;
  • a never ending summer is great when it means you can go outside multiple times a day and little people can attempt to burn off some steam.

Alcatraz version 38. And yes, Alex now climbs inside.

Video stream on the baby monitors - first time they've
both been sleeping the same way at the same time in eons
(Tajy, on the right, normally sleeps across the end of his
cot with Pooh Bear firmly squished under his belly)
.
And we have video monitors as it was impossible to tell
who was making noise when we had audio monitors
and they
were sharing a room.

One super unimpressed child (with a lot of teeth)
- Taj letting us know it's only acceptable to put on his bathers
if he's in the water within the next 5 minutes.

Alex modelling their highly practical swimwear.

"Why, hello cat."

Nik thought it was a clever idea to buy stools
for the boys to stand on, even more so when he
realised he could soon delegate the washing up.

Nice and warm Alex. It's starting to get cooler here at night.

"You eat it, I'll consider it" - Tajy making me try his lunch first.

And for Edward and Paul. Be glad you have girls when
it comes to things like trying to take cute photos at Easter:

You have less than 10 seconds to take that shot...

I don't think so...

Perfectly acceptable!

They are getting so big!!! They are adorable!!

Alexa also gets a red rash on her face when she eats fresh tomatoes (which she loves). No reaction to cooked tomatoes (pasta sauce). Doc said it is contact dermatitis and not to worry, doesn't mean she is allergic.

Adorable!!! Good luck on your vacation! Adam and I saw POTP when it toured the US, and so we're super-impressed that you have a future star on your hands (and relieved that Micah hasn't learned that game yet!)
