Eighteen months

This month we:

popped through lots of new teeth and body hair
- with Alex getting hairy everywhere and
Taj finally getting eyebrows (sort of)

had more visitors from overseas, this time the China contingent
(Nancy, on the left, lived with us for a few years when she
first came to Australia to study when she was 15)

celebrated with Alex when he finally found a
bucket (or laundry basket)
which fit over his boof head

enjoyed being outside in our frog pool

challenged dad to see if we could empty new look
mini Alcatraz quicker than he could get all the balls back in

gave Taj a vaccuuming lesson before giving him
a licence to operate his very own

had a wheelie bin race

and played hide and seek.

The one thing the boys haven't done is vocalise much else in English (other than mum, dad and Alex's new one of "uh oh" which he normally lets out at the correct time - which is normally when he's trashed something). But they're both great at Martian, with Alex having perfected at least 100 words. If only it was a language used more frequently on this planet...

Man, these two are so cute!! Where are Tajy's eyebrows, lol, he is so fair. Do they each have their own vacuum???? Most important is that Nik has a vacuum and knows how to use it :)

The new hair gives them a whole new look! What big grown-up boys they're getting to be. I'm sure they'll start using a few more words of English once they realize that only their twin understands Martian....

Just how many of those blue onesies Taj is wearing did you buy? I seem to have a few smaller ones of those from you. How many years did you plan ahead?

Love that ball pit. You can help me decorate the front yard when you come as it will all be demolished this time : )
